Need some help on some assessment I have to choose an Australian furniture company which would be easy to contact or find info on about their design process, safety aspects etc etc. Any ideas?

Let me guess, for revelance/consideration for industry and commerical practices. This is a good part. Make up a survey, and see if there is someone local, that is a good way to do it. If you can't try emailing like furniture one or something.
