Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum, hopefully u guys can help me out!
I seriously can't find any pieces & it's probably my own fault cos i'm picky, but i've been in trouble of finding a piece ever since the boardofstudies said i couldn't do a Brecht piece cos we're studying Brecht as an hsc topic in class this year.
But do u guys knows of any pieces which are comic/ energetic for a female character? For anyone who studied "The Seven Stages of Grieving", i'm looking for a piece with the same energy from that standup comedy "Murri Gets a Dress". I prefer not to play subtle/actual insane characters, so got any ideas? I also can't really find any absurdist pieces for females (especially from Beckett) and most of them are too masculine for me to play as my teacher said.
It'd be great if u have any suggestions. I tried the performing arts bookshop in pitt street, but the man there couldn't really help me...and i'm seriously running out of time!
Thanks heaps,
