hello, i got this question for legals and im not quite sure wat u should talk about. it is a oral assessment 5 min.

"how did the doctrine of terra nullius affect the statuts of indegienous peoples? have indigenous legal rights and access to the law improved since mabo?"

i dont get the second part

try looking up mabo on the internet? cos i dont really know what it is lol :confused:

but if you want help with the first bit, PM me cos i did heaps of shit on that section last term and did pretty good in the assessment :)

well the mabo case is what introduced the concept of native title, so what you need to do is do a little background on terra nullius etc, then look at what was happened in the mabo case, and look at how native title has affected aboriginal rights under the law in terms of land.
