Was just wondering if there were any story writing / creative modules in the Yr12 course as well as in the actual HSC for English Adv, or do you just do essays with storywriting / creativity being limited to Ext and Ext2?

the Area of study has creative writing in it
Have a look in the past HSC papers.
Adv/Ext I english - all require you to do one creative writing piece in the exam.
EE2 - You choose what medium you want to do i.e. Speech, multimedia,essay, short story etc. It's not restricted to just stories.
School assessments maybe different though. I don't know of any school that has given a creative writing piece for an assessment.

Thanks for clearing that up. That sounds ok i guess.
Someone told me EE2 was only stories, poetry or movies so I'm really happy that there are other options.
