Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done the Biology bridging course?

I bought the notes, but I noticed there were a lot of missing blanks. Just wondering if anyone was able to offer their notes for me to copy/photocopy for a day?

I could offer a beer or lunch in return! :uhhuh:

Cheers

I've probably lost my set by now. I do have a set of typed notes of more or less the same stuff. PM me an email address and I'll send them to you if you like.

The Bridging Course is far better organised than the actual course (BIOL1001 was a joke last year- we ended up relying on another 1st year student to answer all our questions because the staff were so useless), but they actually cover very similar material. Most of what we learnt in the Bridging course was covered all over again in the course itself, so you didn't miss much.

If you harbour an undying hatred for the bio faculty by the end of the course, though, I feel for you.

Hey Justanotherone,

Thanks for your response! I'm not hearing the best things for the bio faculty so far, but hopefully there will be some changes this semester.

Its comforting to know that BIOL1001 will be covering similar material though!

I've pm'ed you with my contact details. Thanks so much in advance!

I couldn't agree more. It makes me wanna take biology units externally.

Go to the School of Molecular Bioscience, they are awesome.

Never taking units with school of bio again.
