anyone ever get the job right on the spot? (1 Viewer)

have any of u, ever gone for an interview, and after the interview, they person comes out and gives u the job straight away? as opposed to saying "we'll be keeping in contact with you after we review all applicants".

if you have, tell us what job it was and how many times u went to the place for interviews.

I went to coles myre interviews not last xmas the xmas before. where they were been done there was a cafe next door, tenille was early so went in to buy a drink.
owner: are you looking for a job?
Tenille: yeah
owner: would you like to work in cafe during the week.
Tenille: im still at school so i an only do afternoons and weekends,
owner: ahh never mind then
Tenille: bye

i never went looking for a job. the boss rang me up - who i only vaguely knew at the time - and asked if i wanted one. i said okay, and have been there ever since (almost 3 yrs).

i went for a job at 'muzz buzz' which is a coffee shop,a nd i did a phone interview, and then got asked to come in for a face to face interview, and in the face to face interview i got offered the job

ummm i applied for the job on a thursday.. got a call on friday to go to the induction
no interview or anything.. a bit weird cuz like everyone else i know (besides me and the 2 girls that started when i did) had an interview beforehand
and ive been there ever since.. 3 years..

Yeah I got my job on the spot. My parents know the boss which is a help

1st job: walked into Bi-lo asked manager gave me job, no special advantagaes other than it was christmas...

2nd Job: Rang up guiy asked me to come in the next day.

3rd job: rocked up (on wrong day by mistake lol) got hired.

some people cant get jobs and have been trying for god knows how long

Its just a matter of being (and appearing so) willing to work.

Luck is only in the timing eg just after someone leaves you have a good chance.

two of my friends got approached at woolies while they were shopping or something, and the manager asked if they were interested in getting a job there. they applied and got interviewed, but only one of them got the job because the other said something about being unsure if she could work.

my sister got a job at golo the day she asked
she walked in and asked the manager if they were hiring
he said just a moment
went out the back
came back with a go lo t-shirt
and said come back tomorrow or whenever u cna so u can start and fill out paper work

Hahaha... so wearing a t-shirt that said 'FCUK like a bunny' i worked that night... and many others...
