I was just wondering whether anyone has ever tried to appeal a failed subject

How do you appeal? Where do you get the forms for it? Do you need to see the unit coordinator before you appeal?

How soon after the results are released do you appeal?

If anyone has gone through this process - can you share your experience? and whether in general it works at all?

Hi,

please refer to this link to their policy Review of
Grade

Personally I have never done so, but maybe your first point of call maybe your course coordinater or unit coordinater. Also do you have a valid reason? I remember there was a form they sent to us after exams if you thought they didnt mark the exam well...oh wait, i think that was for the hsc. bah exams...
Er anyway, maybe call up the student centre or 1800 897 669 for any queries.

A freind of mine actually did it fo a unit he failed, i dont know about any forms but he just emailed his unit coordinater to pass him and she and him had a talk i think and she just said that since the marks are close, she passed him. I guess it depends on some lecturers though, some like to be more formal...
