just a quick question, areX-rays and how its used for medical diagnosis referring to applications in society/environment for cathode rays?

cause i have an assignment and its letting me choose which application to talk about.

X-Rays are produced when the electrons hit the glass, the glass molecules then form X-rays, it exposes photographic film and is absorbed by bone and metal so it has obvious uses.

Yep, the cathode is heated before the voltage to make it easier for the electrons to jump.
