Some clubs are free, some have a small $5-10 payment. Some have special features/events, so it may cost more to join. Sporting clubs may be more expensive, some are free. Look around at O-Week and see what interests you.

Faculty Societies will be free to those enrolled in the particular program. For other societies... well, that will vary.
