Sorry, probably a stupid question but I'm confused about what supplementary I should choose for Crime Fiction. I've already chosen an Agatha Christie and Dashiell Hammett one for my other two, so I was hoping to use something different as one of my profiles.
Are any of the following good to use for techniques/conventions/context, and if so which one is the best? (Sub genre doesn't matter in this case):
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
The Franchise Affair by Josephine Tey
The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco
The Lighthouse by P.D. James
Also, does anybody know any good texts (doesn't necessarily have to be a novel) that are not from British or American origin.
Cheers, Fro.
