Are Excel HSC Study Guides Useful? (1 Viewer)

Hey all!
I tried to search for a similar thread like this but had no luck. So are the 'Excel HSC Study Guides' any useful, or worth the money. I have seen many different types which range from English to Modern History to Chemisty etc... Do they exceptionally help whilst studying or are they just a waste of time? Any opinions on these books will be greatly appreciated.

They're terrible don't touch them! Use subject specific textbooks like Conquering Chemistry or Jacaranda for Chemistry but not sure about Modern and English barely has anything which is relevant and suitable for descent grades...

As long as you don't expect to use them as textbooks they aren't bad. Definitely reccomended if you are too lazy to make notes and want something to study with come exam time.
