Are then any excluding criteria for Youth Allowance? (1 Viewer)

I used to receive Youth allowance, however, I then got a second job and they stopped payments because I earned too much. I now have dropped back to only one job and meet all the criteria I think, but I am just up to the cash on hand part and I am really quite careful and with my money and don’t have a huge amount of expenses and because of this I have saved quite a bit of money, I was wondering if there is a max amount and if reached will deny your application.

There is no need for the attitude!

I had posted that here because i had already looked on the website for a couple of hours and hadn't found anything, and i thought that someone here might actually be helpful, but obviously not the case!

the number of times this has been asked though is outstanding - to get correct answers anyway that is the best option - ask centrelink...

when you apply they do look @ ur bank account... i dont know about once youve got it though....
