PEA day is "Pre-Enrolment Advice Day". It is on the 1st of February from 10AM till 3PM, at the ANU.

http://arts.anu.edu.au/student_information/prospective_students/peaday06.asp

It is for science and arts students, but you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the entire university in general.

On this day you will have the opportunity to talk to academic staff and advisors about planning
your degree. You can also ask staff about the enrolment process, deferment, HECS, finding a
mentor, accommodation and generally how to find your way through the first few weeks.
Come, come! :bomb:

I will, because I will be doing arts and haven't yet figured out majors/minors etc yet and because I am yet to see the ANU campus.

Sorry Slidey, I intended to create this thread, then got ambushed. :p

I'm not going because I don't need to plan any majors as I did that on orientation day.

However, I'm sure we could all get together one time. O-week for sure, if not the Sunday before then.

Honours? Wini? Sauerkraut? Is there some sort of connection there, or am I just plain dumb? :p

I haven't even got my brain around 2nd year where I hope to go overseas.
*sings* California here we come, right back where we've started from... *cough* ahem. I mean Mekanism:

I'm not sure... I think I really need to (I'm terribly confused about... um.. basically everything), but I'm supposed to be in Sydney that day. So unless everything magically clicks into place in my brain, I might see about getting back into Canberra that morning and going. But I'd hate to cut my holiday short if it didn't end up being *that* useful =P

Yeah I headed down to Canberra from Sydney, spent about an hour talking to the faculty reps I was thinking of taking up. I feel like I'll just enroll in whatever sounds good on the day and do as I was advised and rock up to multiple random lectures in the first two weeks, anything slightly enticing really. Enjoyed seeing the campus even though it was hotter than hell. Met an old friend who I'd previously lost touch with, didn't know he was going to ANU. He lives in the same suburb of Sydney as I do and owns his own car. So basically it was a good thing to do because I'm really excited to start uni and gave me a chance to shop around for some 'soft' arts courses: the philosophy dude was really good, sounds very wishy-washy first year.

I have OC music stuck in my head. Stupid commercials.
