I wouldn't go to America, not because of fear but just because the security checks would be ridiculous! It's annoying enough getting out of and into Australia.

Last time I flew out of Australia (Sydney Airport) I was given a random bomb test - apparently I look like a terrorist it gave everyone else something to laugh about for a while.

All you need to do is look at the statistical probability of anything happening to realise how insignificant it is.

I would be more scared of the car ride to the airport, that is to say, no scared at all.
