I'm doing question 13. a) and I'm wondering if my answer is correct. If it isn't, please correct me, this is literally the first major segment question I done so take it easy on me.

You've found the area of the major SECTOR.

The formula for the area of a segment A=½r²(θ-sinθ) also works for major segments. Just sub in 7π/6.

What's the difference between major segment and sector?

You shaded in the wrong area for the label 'major [segment]'. You should have also included that triangle.
Which area was meant to be shaded for the major segment? Also how is the triangle included? Didn't you say a segment is bounded by circle and chord?

Yeah thanks alot man! I didn't see this post in the morning because I was on my way to school. But I was looking at this question, I kept thinking to myself what could 2Pi mean? At the same time, our class was converting radians to degrees, I straight away looked to my friend and told him doesn't 2Pi mean 360 degrees? He told me yes and I automatically knew that you do 2Pi minus 5Pi/6 because you want to find the angle the major segment subtends at. Thanks alot for your help, you have been really helpful!
