There has been up to a 22% increase in people applying for the general arts degree across australian universities.
You know what that means folks?
Up go the entry scores!!
This was according to yesterdays Australian newspaper.
The 22% is not the average, but in general there has been an increase in demand.
Science, apparently, continues to struggle to attract students.

Arts is everything non-Commerce and non-Science... so that would attract many who don't like those other two.

well, you can do commerce and science subjects in it too, but you don't have to.

i'll be doing arts, because there are so many subjects you can choose to do. a great variety :D

I already feel sorry for the Class of 2003... but then, just think of 2004. So it does matter when you're born.

so true, lucky to all the people who were born a few years ago!

but seriosuly, 80 is a good uai, but people with 80 are finding it hard to get into courses!
and people who seem to be intelligent, have got uais in the 60s & 70s?

do you think people are getting more intelligent OR that people are finding new ways of manipulating the HSC?

i remember reading some newspaper article about some guy remembering past answers and just re-using them.
