our school has given us 3 english questions , of which one will be picked for the assesment to write an essay on.

ive written an essay on a practice question. should i try and remember this practice essay, and change it to suit the question on the day? or prepare 3 similar essays answering the different questions

Learn all your quotes and ideas from your practice essay, and practise writing each of the 3 essays under exam conditions with a set time limit (40 minutes I think). This is probably the best way to prepare for it. Good luck.

some people cope better if they have a prepared essay - be aware though, that relying on a prepared answer is asking for trouble! if you just keep practicing writing essays (and writing to the time limit) then you'll be fine
