Also, just a bit of extra advice, when I phoned hsc line, they said that when asked to assess, you should of course state your opinion, but also provide abit of counter-argument, or in other words, state abit of the other side of that argument, this way you're ensuring that you get a band 6 for that 6-7 mark question.

yeah assess is basically a discuss but with a concluding statement with ur opinion on the situation
