Ok this was an easy one but just to make sure i got it right:

You are a drafts-person and have been asked to design and draw a plan for a six-lane 400m running track for training purposes. Read the information provided regarding standard dimensions for 400m running tracks.
  • A track with an inside line 50mm in width ie no concrete kerb.
  • Lanes with a width of 1220mm and lane seperation lines 50mm width.
  • Curve radius of 35.2m, measured
  • Finishing line to coincide with the starting line for the inside lane.
Question 1: Calculate the length of the straigts.
Question 2: Describe how you worked out where the starting lines for the six lanes should be
Question 3: Allowing for a minimum clearance of 1.5 around the edge calculate the required area for the track. Express in hectares.

So that was it, if anyone would like to have a go it would be very helpful for me so i can compare answers, but i think i should be right
