hi i have an assessment taks due and having trouble with one question:

1. outline the role that vaccination has played in preventing the spread of small pox, diptheria and polio in the human population. your information should be detailed enough for you to be able to discuss what impact on human society the use of this vaccine has had...

and help or information would be of great help thanks heaps..

Well, vaccianation has erradictaed smallpox and there are only few cases of diptheria and polio around, like 10% or something. The world health organisation had this big campaign thing to get rid of small pox and everyone was vaccianated against it so the virus basically died out. Try the HSC Excel Biology book, it has some really good info on it. Hope this helps. It's been so long since I looked at my search for better health stuff!
