So we're about a month back to school now, I bet everyone has an assignment or two hanging over their heads. Do you mostly start them early and get a little done everyday, devote a whole weekend to one or are you more of a frantic day-before, all-nighter type?

when it comes to something interesting... i start the day i get it :)
but since most of the time it isn't, then i leave it for awhile before getting to it.
i'm not a last-minute person though. i start at the latest a week before it's due ^^

i usually come home and find all the info i need for it pretty much as soon as i get it, then leave it a while, sometimes devote a whole weekend to it......i very rarely leave it to the night before

Knock 'em over quickly and then perfect them as time goes on.

But hey, with 4 units of maths, 2 of chemistry, 2 of programming and then 2 of Englsih, the only subjects I'll ever get assignments for is English, which are all "prepare an essay and actually do it in class", so... pretty sweet. :)

Oh gee, i always spend all my time researching for information rather than actually reading it and starting the assignment until the last day. Of course, i would then stay up till 3am trying to perfect it, and then of course, the printer wouldnt work....

I'll go straight through the day i get them, make rough plans, work out the mechanics (in the case of engineering) or get a basic plan. DO as much as i can from my head then go to other resources. Just do final checks the night before.
