Assistance with an economics essay (1 Viewer)

Hi, i have a aessment essay (due in tuesday) and im having trouble attacking it.

"Analyse the role of microeconomic reform in addressing contemporary Australian economic issues (economic growth, inflation, unemployment, external stability)

I asked my teacher, and she pointed out to brief sections of the textbook, and i have trouble elaborating on those brief points.

I was just wondering if you could inform me on how microeconomic policy addresses those issues?

hey, i just handed in an essay like this except we had to do both macro and micropolicies.

Basically the micropolicies are used in order to help the aggregate supply within in an economy in the long run. So factors such as productivity, innovation, competitiveness are improve by microeconomic reforms which affect objectives such as economic growth (Activity), unemployment etc

Definately use the textbook as a guide and just get recent examples and stuff to add to it, its a good starting point

Basically, go through the theory of microeconomic reform ie. affecting the economy at the firm level by affecting SUPPLY not demand, lots of graphs, simple definitions; then go through examples of how they affect economic growth (increase productivity, deregulation of many sectors to improve efficiency, innovation), inflation, unemployment, external stability (increase national savings and productivity reduces CAD).

Should be easy with a textbook, but don't rely heavily upon that, get some examples of current reforms in place by the Australian government and lots of statistics.
