Anyone run or follow track?

I run 400 and the occasional 1 and 2. Ran at this years Pacific Schools Games and won NSW gold for combined high schools, silver at NSW all schools.

Hopefully someone here is going to the Sydney Track Classic in a few weeks.

Thanks,
My 400 is about 50.20 at the moment and hopefully I can go under 49 this year. As for my 100 and 200 they're 11.31 and 23.15 but the 200 should drop to the low 22s if not 21 this year.

You're right it isn't, lucky I don't run it seriously.

The fastest time this year in my age was ran by Mitch Felsman; 10.68. My mate in the age bracket above is a freak, just google Jake Hammond - 100m -10.51 200m- 21.33 and 400m- 47.96.

Plus, 13.5 isn't fast for a 12yr old... Terri-Ann Cain ran 12.2 as the national winner, thats quick ;)

Btw, I've heard Kurt's name before... a quick check of the results - 7.19m 1st. Not bad for a 15yr old.

Sorry, I won't be there. I've toned down my training for the time being and am getting to grips with my Yr 11 schedule before I up the training again for the school programme. I should be building it back up around the time you're racing so I'll be watching for results ;)

What events do you run?

Try having to run against Peter Betham since primary school and then him and Kurtley Beale in highschool. :p

Sweet, my best time for an 8 is 2.10 and I ran a 24.2 200m 30minutes after. Using interclub meets as training.

I've seen John and Len run before, they're pretty fast. That age group has some rockets there, both Pearce's, Jake Hammond and Patrick Fakiye. One hell of a 4x100.
