Hey guys!

No, this is not a racist thread. This is for my society and culture assessment which is like a mini PIP. I have to choose an ethnic culture (other than my own) and focus on the gender role and their affect in the communication process. I have decided to do Greeks since there are many at my school and on BOS. Anyways, please complete this survey for me before Monday afternoon and then I can analyse them all. You can even get your parents/grandparents to fill it out if you want so I can interpret the info from different generations. Please copy the survey and the paste it in your post to answer it, don't just write the question number and then a yes or a no Thanx again guys!

Here's the survey:

[ ] Yes, they are not allowed to communicate but do use their appearance to communicate
[ ] No, they are allowed to make direct communication

(5) Do Greek females tend to use the words/phrases “in my opinion”, “maybe”, “perhaps” and “sort of” in a conversation?

[ ] Yes
[ ] No

(6) Do Greek females tend to use disclaimers such as “I am probably wrong but….”?

[ ] Yes
[ ] No

(7) Do Greek females tend to use phrases such as “isn’t that so” or “Don’t you think”?

[ ] Yes
[ ] No

[ ] Yes
[ ] No

i didn't think specifically N-S, but then again, this thread won't be appropriate in the NS section thats why i put it in here and I don't really want to make a new thread in NS

Interesting Thread, i'd like to add that Greeks are a very physical people, we like to be intimate and close. So if someone likes another person, they will definately show it.

If you want to ask anything else just pm me :)
