The syllabus crossed some dot points off....and i noticed that you dun need K's postulates anymore......well, some of it i guess.
Am i right here? ----> u still need to kno it but u dun need to regurgitate or repeat those 4 points of Koch's.
They crossed this:
outline Kochs postulates and explain
how they can be used to identify the
causative organism of an infectious
disease.
But they left this:
describe the contribution of
Pasteur and Koch in identifying the
causes of diseaseto our understanding
of infectious diseases.

So u need to kno it only briefly right?
Please explain :)

okay.. that's a really touch question you've got there ;) you see.. by knowing "the contribution of Koch in identifying the causes of disease to our understanding of diseases" just means that we have to know his postulate because it does help us to understand the nature of infectious diseases :)

That's correct. You need to know that Koch's postulate helps us to identify and understand more about infectious disease. Therefore, you are not require to memorise WHAT the four postulates are.
