The forthcoming release ‘Bass lovers EP Part 1’ on Alex Kidd’s ’ ‘Kiddfectious’ label is due for released at the end of May with recent air play on Radio 1, Kiss FM and QFI the track is predicted to be a summer dance floor destroyer. This will be the first of many collaborations from 'The Kiddfectious All-Star Squad': ALEX KIDD, KUTSKI and KIDD KAOS.
In 2006 Kidd Kaos began promoting his own club night ‘Higher Consciousness’ which became a platform to test out his new tunes on the local club scene. The ‘Trancefuzion Collective’ (TFC) label was launched in late 2007 and has already had 16 releases on its series of sub-labels: Trancefuzion Recordings, Trancefuzion White, Trancefuzion Harder and Trancefuzion Electric. Three of the tracks have reached No.1 in the major UK and European download dance and trance charts. The label aims to showcase the new generation of South West talent, collaborative projects and new production partnerships.
2007 saw the release of the track ‘Cohesive’ on the Italian label ‘Trance NRG’. Kidd Kaos explains his drive behind the production, “I was born at the beginning of the dance music revolution in 1988, the early days of house. The dance music phenomena has gripped the world for 20 years, the scene is ever expanding and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Kidd Kaos brings a ‘can-do’ & dynamic approach to the production table. This enables Kaos to achieve powerfully diverse results. He has a contagious enthusiasm, combined with the ability to accelerate creativity in the studio, one of the elements that truly sets young Kaos’s co-productions apart. His tunes have an intelligent and modern edge, bringing new energy and excitement into the Dance arena.
For the rest of 2008 we see Kaos working closely with Alex Kidd, and the Goodgreef team. This will include playing at some of the leading clubs and major events in and around the U.K, including: Ministry Of Sound, Kiddstock, Wildstyles, Storm, Hardcore Heaven, Evolution, Concept, Trancefusion, After-Dark, & Premonition.
Kaos has lined up electrifying new musical projects with 2008’s ‘Best Hard Dance DJ’ Alex Kidd, and exciting newcomer Konflict amongst others. Many of the leading names in the industry are supporting Kaos’s music: Radio 1, Kutski, Yoji Biomehanika, Remo-Con, ASYS, Bas & Ram, DJ Choose and LED.
With all this in mind 2009 is set to be a very good year for Kidd Kaos, with his recent signing to Goodgreef and in the quality of his production work with TFC. It won’t be long before this Kidd is bringing Kaos to a dance floor near you!
DR WILLIS (MELB)
2009 sees the Dr step things up even further both at home and abroad! In July he returns to both super festivals Dance Valley Holland and Nature One Germany to bigger and better time slots for the third and second time consecutively. While in Europe he also takes on a series of club gigs in Ireland, Wales and Germany plus his return to Kiddstock. Not bad with no clever marketing teams behind him or a continuous barrage of publicity stunts every time wind is broken. Hard work is the name of the game at camp Willis and that’s only just the start of things to come.
