Average cost for books per semester - 4 subjects enrolled (1 Viewer)

Hiya,

As the title says I am interested in how much I would approximately need to spend on books per semester if I enroll to 4 subjects?

What are your experiences? I m trying to pull through as cheap as possible .

Surely, I count on second-hand books as a money saviour and also buying only the ones I really need.

Any tips and estimations would be very welcomed as I m trying to plan a budget.

It really depends on the subjects dude. Some subjects require 2-3 textbooks, some don't need any at all, but I suppose the average would be $100ish per subject.

Unless you're doing law subjects - then it shoots up to about 120+ and it gets really hard to find second hand textbooks since most people seem to keep theirs.

Buying recommended texts are a bit of a waste.

Also, lots of commerce subjects don't really need a textbook - lecture notes usually suffice.
