Hi Guys,

I was wondering what the average WAM for B.Commerce/Business & B.Law is for different unis. Also what is generally a good WAM for this combination or any other combination?

Please let me know your thoughts,

Cheers,
Lucas

WAM is weighted average mark. Worked out by:

(Mark 1 X Credit points 1) + (Mark 2 X Credit points 2) + (Mark n X Credit Points n)/Total Credit points

See this link for source

For the commerce part of your degree i would guess that a high credit WAM (i.e. lows 70s) would be average. I've based this on the fact that a pass is considered average in Engineering and Commerce is an easier degree.

anything above distinction is excellent, regarding as to which degree you are studying
im still surprised by how many people have no clue as to what WAM and/or GPA is
