Depends what your alternative is.

"Is it worth taking it" versus not going to uni, i'd say so yes...

B-commerce accg in macq isn't that bad considering what people think..

the main reason why the UAI for it is so low is mainly because of the location of the uni

Macquarie uni is pretty good for studying accountant. I went to their open day and they said in the Accounting lecture that Macquarie is ranked 3rd for Accounting among the universities around Australia. Melbourne/UNSW is ranked 1st or 2nd, I dont know which one of them is 1st and 2nd. So yeah...

UAI AIM = >87

Dream course = B of commerce - Accounting and B of Commerce - Actuarial Studies at Macquarie University.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO'S DOING THE HSC THIS YEAR =]

What about finance? Is B AppFinance at Macquarie just as good as unsw/usyd?

Just looking at your sig JJV, if you want to do Actuarial Studies at MACQ you'll need at least 95.xx uai, I doubt an 87 will get you into Actuarial studies straight out. Or you could transfer mid year :)
