so i know that i want to combine a business degree with IT. my choices:

Bachelor of Commerce & Bach IT at University of Syd
or
Bachelor of Business & Bachelor of SCIENCE in IT at UTS

completely stumped on which one i should put as my first preference.
PLEASE help me out:
1. what the hell is the difference between SCIENCE of IT and IT?
2. business is better at Usyd, but UTS specialises in IT. which one should take priority?

thanks in advance

Do some research on the actual course content and what uni you prefer.

Science in IT is a normal IT course, the one without science is a scholarship.

It's hard to argue that Sydney is better then UTS at business since they take different approaches, also it's not like UTS SPECIALISE in IT.

I suggest you go do some more research.

the IT course at UTS is only able to be entered through scholarship, but the one at USYD isn't.

btw what i meant was that it's got a better name in the industry--that is, employees regard a commerce degree at USYD to be of a higher standard than one completed at uws or uts. so i guess doing commerce at usyd would make me more employable...?

Commerce at USYD* might have a better reputation in the industry, along with the Uni in general. Although i dont know about IT. Bsc in IT at UTS is NOT a scholarship course, only the B IT course is.
