if u do b economics with major in finance and economics could u be a stockbroker or finance dealer the same way u could be if u do b commerce major in finance and economics?

Yes, there's absolutely no difference except for the name on your degree.

Who gives a shit? Commerce and Economics are related fields. I don't think employers would fuss over such a trivial matter.

but if u do economics maj in finance, can u still be a stockbroker? the same way a commerce maj finance can? does the commerce deg have a prefernce over eco in finance?

No, Commerce is not always preferred over Economics. However, if you want to major in Finance in Economics you have to do a double major because economics or econometrics is compulsory.

And yes, you can become a stockbroker with either degree.

You talk as if doing a particular degree unlocks a door to a certain job. It doesn't work that way at all. You're degree is only a part of the overall package require to attain such a demanding job.
