For the psychology major it says that they recommend you take one of the main four sciences for the HSC - and Im just wondering how relevant that is.
If there are any psych students on the board, would they recommend taking a bridging course in chem or physics for the degree, or is it not necessary.

[Edit]: Also, could someone tell me how difficult it is to get into honours for psych? And is there _anything_ you can do with a psychology major without the honours year?

It's not necessary. Everything you need to know are in the lectures :)
Just do both PSYC1001 and 1011. Psychology is a different kind of science compared to Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

100% agree.

Very different things. Maybe biology might come in handy. But I never did it and am doing fine.
