i was wondering if anyone at all could give me some info on the bachelor of international communications degree at macquarie... i have some info on it and it sounds very dynamic and interesting, but i would luv more in-depth info

as for what people think of the course, i don't do b.int com so i can't comment.. i don't think anyone here does it!!

i do icom!! hehe no there doesn't seem to be many of us... but it's pretty cool.

really, it's just a media degree with an icom unit each year. the icom 101 unit we've started with, intercultural relations, isn't really 'challenging' yet, but it's a good introduction and gets you thinking about different persepctives, etc. ...eg, how different cultures have different proxemics - different uses of space - say if u met someone from an arabic culture, they could stand closer to you that what your western culture has taught you to be the 'proper' space. that's just one thing i found interesting.

hehe, after 6 weeks i'd recommend it!?!
