Since UNSW has the largest population of international students im just wondering whether the students in science degrees at UNSW, particularly in Medical Science, are from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds or from mainly specific groups? eg. asians, south african? If so, are there many "fobby" students?

erm...unsw is mainly all asian so you'd be hard pressed to find non-asians unless you're in mining engineering or arts.

Actually in medical sciences there are quite a lot of anglo girls. It's quite diverse, a few indonesian internationals, lots of anglos, fair few asians, some indians etc...

The world is becoming more and more globally integrated so unfortunately xenophobia will become harder and harder to manage. Still, one can only blame the government for forcing Uni's to take on internationals to remain solvent.
