My teacher for eco told me my multiple choice result for our pre-halfyearly (still an assessment).

I got one wrong apparently, so did my main competitor and friend, but on different questions. Thing is, we have no idea which question(s) we got wrong, they all seemed so *very* *very* straightforward. Probably means a silly mistake. God damn those.

Anyways, how prone are you guys to making silly mistakes? I seem to lose 1-2 multiple choice Q's depending on the number of questions due to stupid mistakes as a habit.

I have the habit of underestimating multiple choice questions and it's answers. I am likely to skim through the question and find an answer which seems right but there's always that god damn answer which is slightly better so i lose that one mark.. which isn't really valuable before year 11 =D

That's why multiple-choice aren't that accurate in determining the smartest.
It's usually the best-guesser or the most foolproof who gets it.

You don't get marks for being CLOSE, either. I know a kid who gets very high marks in multiple-choice but isn't that bright.

The multiple should be the most straight forward and easiest part of an ecos exam. It should be an easy 20 marks. The problem is those annoying ambiguous question where you have to pick the most correct choice.
