Band 6 answer to a question (1 Viewer)

I have a business management and change assessment next week and the teacher handed out some sheets that had band 5/6 responses to questions...I dont agree with one of them:S...it seems wrong.

The question is:

Describe how managers in a car manufacturing plant would manage the changes involved in the development and eventual selling of a new model car(10 Marks)

The person talked about planning, organising and control. Wouldn't you talk about how to manage change effectively, which is the change models(force feild analysis and unfreeze/change/refreeze), setting achievable goals, identifying the need for change,and creating a culture of change. Its worth 10 marks...thats huge. The teacher just gave them to us and told us to highlight planning, organising and control which the person underlined and put in capital letters.

So you couldnt talk about change models etc. I guess it did say describe how the managers...but it had changes...

Here is the response:

Managers would use the autocratic management style-First planning which involves selecting objectives about the new car(colour, style, type) and what the different alternatives will be chosen. Each part of the plan will have objectives to be achieved in the future car production and sales. Organisation is next, the managers would choose which people are involved and as car designers, production managers, marketing experts to determine the "target market' for the new car. Firstly, the managers need to controll the production and the sales of the new car. They will check and monitor the quality of the car and the sales figuires to see if their goals/objectives are met.

i really hate change and management. i feel so lost in the topic and it's really depressing. our teachers gave us a few sheets with questions on the topic today and i barely knew how to answer any of them. i doubt that ill be able to keep my rank come half-yearlies ><". so im gonna try my hardest to study really hard for it, as im almost finish going through my global business notes. can you post some of the questions you got and also the answers if you have the time? thanks ..

Yeh thats the whole response and it was worth 10 marks...they filled all the lines provided. My teacher isn't very good...thats why I turned to these forums. Lol.
