What are these bands, i see university prerequistes with stuff like "... assumes knowledge of HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2. Students will be expected to have achieved a result in Band E4 in Mathematics Extension 2."

Whats band E4? Whats the highest band? Does anyone have a diagram? Whats the Ext 1 and 2 Maths HSC exams out of?

E4 means you need atleast 40/50 (as ext 2 is a 1 unit subject)

1 unit subjects arent banded as band 6,5,4,3 etc... But as E1, E2, E3, E4.. E4 being the highest band
