Hi everyone,

If there are any bankstown students, do you know whether there is a uni bus from Revesby and Panania railway stations to the bankstown campus? Is this bus service frequent and reliable?

Thanks

I would recommend you get the train to East Hills and get the 922 bus to the campus. It is very reliable (almost always on time) and comes every 30 minutes.

Bankstown Campus

The Bankstown campus is located in Bullecourt Ave, Milperra Map

By train, the closest station is Panania; from which the campus is within a walking distance. Alternative stations are East Hills, Bankstown or Liverpool; from which there are regular bus services.

By car, the campus is about thirty minutes from central Sydney along the M5 motorway.

I'm not really sure about bus services from the stations although here's another link showing the timetable from Bankstown Station to UWS - http://www.transitfirst.com.au/860lweektimes.html.

East Hills or Bankstown station is easier. There is one bus that does Panania and Revesby stations but it only comes once an hour if I recall correctly. East Hills stations 922 will drop you off at the uni bus stop and also the 922 on it's return run from Bankstown station will do the same.

The East Hills one will pick you up from the bus stop on the station side of Park Rd. If you are going to get the bus from Bankstown its shelter number 7 on the southern side of Bankstown Station.

Timetable is available below:

I recommend taking the bus from east hills too, that's what I do. It's easy and reliable, and only costs $1.30 each way (with student card) - at least that was the price last semester!

Yep totally. Catching the train to East Hills is the way to go! Did it all last year.
