  • Why does the lattice get attracted to the electron and not the other way around? Wouldn't the lattice be stronger?
  • Why do Cooper Pairs form? Wouldn't electrons want to repel each other? (same charge)
  • If phonons are packets of sound energy does that mean that superconductivity could be heard by something? (because it would be too small of an amount for the human ear).
  • Just to check this is right. The formation of Cooper pairs means that there is no free electrons to collide with lattice impurities to cause resistance? But then wouldn't there also be no free electrons to cunduct a current?
Thanks.
