Hmm... it does'nt seem like it's been mentioned before though i just noticed it just then.

Whoa, BDO and Horwath are in talks to merge, if sucessful they say they will be in a league of their own (neither Big 4 or Mid-Tier).

What a coincidence... both of those networks lost an office to Deloitte.

Deloitte just cherry-picked the most profitable offices of BDO and Horwath and just left the rest. I didn't expect them to merge, but good luck to them.

They are still well and truly mid-tier though, internationally and domestically. There's nothing in between.
