draw a diagram with a compass at all times?

if youre looking for the bearing of A from B you start at B and work out where A is in relation to it.

The word "from" in the question is really important to look for. It tells you the starting point of the bearing.

A question might say "Find the bearing of B from A" or "Find the bearing from A of B". Both mean the same thing.

After that, remember that bearings are angles, always starting from North and always turning in a clockwise direction.
