Could someone please explain to me how to work out bearings in 3D- trigonometry? For example, question 7a in the 2003 HSC paper. I've checked Jeff Geha's solution and it doesn't clear things up about it. Could someone exaplain to me how to work out the bearings in that question?

remember all the direction (N, S, E, W) are all parralel to eachother... so just use alternate angles (or similar) to work it out.

Hey so unlike all the ASTC graph, 0o is straight up, which is also north?

Edit: And also unlike the ASTC graph, you go clockwise?
