Hey, I'm wondering if I should/shouldn't be overly biased in the evaluate responses (or any response that needs you to judge something). I'm talking about using highly emotive language or suggestive language to support your perspective, not bias as in a one-sided argument.
eg. "The Japanese treatment of subjected Asian nations was uniquely harsh as Japan aimed to exploit their newly-acquired spoils of war." - Ok, that wasnt overly bias, but you see what i'm talking about, where you promote a debated topic as if it had a clear answer.
I know we are not supposed to be just writing a 'textbook-history', but is there a difference between judging/evaluating/promoting a perspective and writing an emotive narrative?
