hey guys, i was wondering if some one could tell me when assessing the benefits of Tib's reign how can you link his relationship with family members such as Germanicus and also Sejanus be linked. i know that it demonstrates his weaknesses to judge people, and also through Germanicus show his lack of affability/unpopularity. but does that even count!!!

If I had to discuss the benifits of his reign I'd talk about his frontier policy and his policy of border consolidation. He was very conservative when it came to expansion and his soldiers loved him because he never risked the lives of his legions recklessly. It's a good point though; he certainly didn't achieve a lot in terms of improving Rome.

yeh thats true, the poor man had so much to live up to. he basically didn't change the methods that Augustus used which is probably why Rome didn't get that change that much during his reign
