Just wondering, what does a service associate do at big w. Because there is a job ad for one, I know checkouts do the checkouts, recovery clean the store/department pretty much, nightfill does nights... what does service associate do?

Its more like a Day associate, where you will prob be part-time in Home,Leisure, Consumables, Apparel doing daywork (Ticketing, ad stock, catalogue prep, stock control, planagrams), or just what the manager wants you to do. After the manager does his/her walkthrough with whoever, they usually hand me a whole sheet of things to do..Helping the customers also I should add. So basically your keeping the area running along while the manager does other stuff..

Basic customer service around the shop Eg. Apparel etc.
Responsible for the presentation of the shop. Like if someones left a shirt on the floor you would put it back in the right place.
I think thats what it does, but if you want to follow up, ask your manager.
