i cant really tell you about either in great detail. but i waslooking at doing biotech/nanotech last year, then decided not to. the UAI for biotech as a single degree was about 75 at CSU and a double degree for bio/nanotech at UTS [i think it was UTS] was about 89.

and nano technology is the study of micro organisms that are invisible to the human eye. google it.

Biotechnology is more of a specialization/major to study which is avaliable in most science courses.

Check out biomedical engineering and biotech which are simillar.

Pfft, nano-technology is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale. Such applications for industry, medicinal but most of it is research and development of materials.

UWS has one of the first pure nanotech courses which started this year. http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.asp?course=3591

No. That's microbiology!

Most Nanotech and biotech courses have a UAI cut off of between 75-85 at any uni.
