i need a little bit of help =)
what's an abstract in a field study report? and what should i include in it for my report on the ecosystem of mangroves?

An abstract goes right at the beginning of your field study report. It should summarise what the report is about and what you found. I can't remember what the specifics of the ecosystem of mangroves would be, but does that help?

You need to write it last in chronology but it appears first in the report.

Search for anything on Google Scholar and click on an article. A page comes up which displays the author and paper title etc. Below that should be the abstract. That is how an abstract is done.
