hey
i just had a biology prac exam pretty sure i totally bombed out. But i love the subject. Anyways we had to find the objective lens and eyepeice lens thing (that x10 thingy) and i completely got all that wrong... so my question is how do you find that out?

how do you find it? Its just there, attached to the microscope, well at least ours are.

I'm sorry that I may be misinterpretting the question posed here; anyhow, the ocular lens is the thing through which you look through, closest to your head and eyes, and the objective lens are the lenses that you can change such that you can alter the magnification (because the ocular lens' magnification is set; overall magnification is given by ocular . objective magnifications).

The magnifications of the lenses should be on the lenses.
Usually ocular m. is 10x.
