Hello there,

I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me answer some questions I have regarding the BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology) coop-scholarship degree offered by UTS.

  1. Similar to the BScIt (Bachelor of Science in IT), what exactly is "IT"?
    ~What does the course entail?
~What is the relevance of what you have studied in the course?
  2. I have looked through the website (links below) and have found it difficult to work out the level of emphasis placed on the technical (computing) side vs business side. This leads me to my next point.
~Do I have to learn how to be really talented/knowledgeable in programming?
  3. Who should be applying for the course? How do I know whether or not I should apply?
~Does it matter if I haven't done any technical things such as coding?
  4. What future job prospects are there?
~What role would I specifically play?
~What would I do in that role?
Any responses to these questions will greatly help. Thank you very much in advanced :)
