Transnational Organisations or Multinational Coorporations?
Apparently both terms mean the same thing, but one is from the 70s and the other is more recent.

Which one is correct, in terms of the context of Blade Runner? ie. which one is the 70s term?

Honestly, the markers aren't going to give a flying crap whether or not you've used the term relevant to the correct decade. They have hundreds of essays to mark, they're not going to get hung up on something as small as that (that's if they even notice it, which they won't).

Don't worry about it, for the purposes of HSC English I'd say both terms can be used interchangeably.

Must be my teacher's pedantry then... He specifically stressed that we use the 'correct' terminology.

Just realised, it's the other way around - transnational coorporations and multinational organisations. Going with TNC.
